Popular Instagram influencer Baba Talisha has opened up about why he has not yet made his relationship with his current wife, Miss Wanjey, official. During a Q&A session on Instagram, one of his fans asked him if he is truly married. Baba Talisha responded with honesty and explained why he hasn’t paid dowry yet.
He shared, “People may not understand,” he wrote, “but my heart knows why I haven’t paid dowry or made that official visit yet. It’s not out of disrespect to the woman I love now. It’s out of a promise I made to the woman I once loved, and lost.”
Baba Talisha further explained that he vowed to pay his late wife’s dowry and he has to fulfil his late wife’s promise before he married his current way the traditional way. “My late wife may be gone, but the vow I made to her about her dowry still weighs heavy on my soul. Until I honor that, my spirit won’t rest. Some promises live beyond the grave,” he concluded. His fans have applauded the father of two for his integrity and commitment to his late wife and mother to his first born daughter.
