Quiver Steak House in Milimani, Nairobi, has announced it will no longer be playing music to its revellers.
This is after Nairobi residents living within the area raised concerns over excessive noise levels emanating from the club, especially at night.
In a statement, after it was closed on Sunday over noise, the club said it had embraced an innovative concept that will involve not playing loud music.
"This unique approach aims to create a vibrant atmosphere where guests can fully enjoy their time without the distraction of loud music. We believe that people can still eat, drink, and have fun while engaging in meaningful conversations and connecting with one another. By eliminating loud music, we encourage a more social environment," the club said.Notably, Quiver Steak House operates a few meters from the Military headquarters, the State House, and the County Commander of Nairobi Headquarters.
