Three men have been arrested in connection with a daring break-in and theft at Vimit Convertors Limited, a facility located along Mombasa Road near the SGR station in Embakasi.
The suspects are said to have scaled the perimeter wall and cut through the roof’s iron sheets to gain entry into the godown.
Once inside, they raided the offices and made away with several electronic items, including two laptops, a Microsoft Surface, and a Razer, alongside a Huawei iPad and a Soundlink Mini speaker.
The suspects, identified as Francis Ndusa Buika, Patrick Mututho, and Ezekiel Ndusa Musyoki, were later arrested by police officers after a quick response operation.
The authorities confirmed that three suspects are currently in police custody as detectives complete processing ahead of their arraignment.
Police have thanked the rapid coordination that led to the arrests of the suspects, and they urged businesses in the area to tighten their security systems in the wake of rising cases of theft.
