Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has launched a blistering attack on Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of being the mastermind behind political chaos and plotting against President William Ruto.
In a scathing social media post, Sudi called out Gachagua, claiming he was behind efforts to sponsor anti-government demonstrations and destabilize the country.
“My boss, it’s no longer a secret that you’re the mastermind behind the dead-on-arrival plan to oust our President,” Sudi wrote.
He alleged that the violent protests that took place in recent months, where lives were lost and several individuals were jailed, were financed by the Deputy President.
Sudi criticized Gachagua for now attempting to align himself with the same people who suffered during those demonstrations, branding his actions as hypocritical.
“Young people were killed in the streets, and those jailed are a result of the money you poured to sponsor demos, yet now you claim you’re fighting for them! Save for the respect we have for your office, you belong in jail,” Sudi added.
Sudi did not stop there. He further accused Gachagua of manipulating and using emerging political figures like MPs James Gakuya, Alfred Keter, and Benjamin Gathiru for his personal gain, after trying to derail the political careers of leaders such as Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung’wah, Ndindi Nyoro, Kimani Kuria, and Cecily Mbarire.
“You’re using upcoming political leaders after attempting to mess up the careers of brilliant leaders. We are wise enough not to go after the piper but the chief financier of chaos,” he warned, signaling that many leaders were aware of Gachagua’s alleged political scheming.
Sudi also accused Gachagua of attempting to stir up tribal politics in the Mount Kenya region, saying that the Deputy President’s attempts to divide the community were purely for his selfish ambitions.
“Don’t hide your ill intentions by attempting to box Mt. Kenya people into a tribal cocoon. You’re a Kenyan leader, and it’s a shame to dwell on ‘usiguse murima’ and other stories when you know it’s about your selfish agenda,” Sudi wrote, calling out Gachagua for betraying the people of Central Kenya.
