The Nairobi Women’s Hospital has announced the closure of its Rongai branch, effective today, October 30, 2024.

The hospital attributed its decision to tough economic times and other external operational factors that made it unfavorable to continue operations.

Taking to social media, the healthcare outlet emphasised that the closure of the Rongai branch will not impact the quality or continuity of patients’ care.

The facility assured the affected clients following the closure of a smooth transition, with patients’ medical records accessible at its other branches.

"To our valued clients, we would like to inform you that our Rongai branch has officially closed. Please know that this change does not impact the quality or continuity of your care. We’re fully committed to ensuring a smooth transition for all our Rongai branch clients, with your medical records safely accessible at our other branches.
Due to unavoidable external business and operational factors, we regret to announce the closure of our Rongai branch, effective 30th October 2024," the hospital stated.
