Harambee Stars legend Victor Wanyama has revealed his top three picks for the upcoming 2026/27 Premier League season.
Wanyama said he believes Arsenal will finish third despite their success in last season, pointing out that the last season title race largely came down to Arsenal and Manchester City, with both sides experiencing difficulties as they battled for the top.
He said this season the games might be a bit tougher, as some teams are likely to challenge the two leading sides, with Arsenal potentially slipping down despite having won the title last season.
He has backed Manchester City to finish second, maintaining their position in the league, stating that City might need time to adapt to the new coach’s approach, establishing a consistent style of play and develop a clear identity as a team.
Victor Wanyama backed his former team Tottenham Hotspur to win the 2026/27 Premier League, ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City in his top three prdiction. He believes Spurs will be motivated by their strong return last season.
With the new manager, he expects to inspire and achieve the best results this season, delivering success as he is a good manager with a solid reputation in the Premier League as they look forward to winning in this season.
