Political Scientist, Strategist, and UDA Director of Digital Communication Antonellah Kakuko has come out in strong support of Kenya’s police officers, urging them to remain vigilant and professional as they navigate the delicate balance of maintaining law and order during ongoing public demonstrations.

In a public statement on X aaccount, Kakuko assured members of the National Police Service that they are not alone, affirming the government’s and citizens’ appreciation for their daily sacrifices.

“To our men and women in the Police Service, you’re not alone. The Government of Kenya and its citizens are in solidarity with you. The sacrifices you’re making to secure our country will not be in vain. We appreciate you all,” said Kakuko.

Amid heightened tensions across the country driven by youth-led protests, Kakuko emphasized the importance of upholding the safety of all—including peaceful protesters—while also protecting officers and property from potential threats.

“For the country and everyone’s safety, do not hesitate to protect yourselves, peaceful protesters, and even properties from vandalism when faced with a threat,” she stated.

She concluded her statement with a unifying call that underscored the dignity of every life:

“Police Lives Matter! All Lives Matter!”

Kakuko’s message comes at a critical moment as the country grapples with a surge of civic expression.

Her remarks aim to encourage responsible policing while promoting mutual respect between law enforcement and demonstrators, aligning with UDA’s broader messaging of unity and national cohesion.
