The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has been awarded as the Most Impactful, People-Centered and Influential Grassroots, Based Political Party in Kenya during the 2026 Bobea Leadership Awards.
The award was handed over during a gala dinner organized at the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) as part of a function to recognize leaders and institutions that have excelled in governance, public service, and community transformation.
The Bobea Leadership Awards is an independent platform that aims at recognizing ethical leadership, performance, based public service, and transformative impact across Kenya through several categories of awards.
The event was honored by a well, known leader Hon. Zipporah Kittony, who was the chief guest. She also received the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was handed to her by the Cabinet Secretary for East African Community (EAC), Arid and Semi, Arid Lands (ASALs), and Regional Development, Hon. Beatrice Askul.
Kittony was awarded for her public service, political leadership, and gender equality advocacy in Kenya, spanning several decades.
Hon. Cecilia Asinyen Ng’itit, a member of the National Executive Committee (NEC) received UDA’s award for the party and party officials including Director of Programmes and Partnerships Daniel Kiptoo, Director of Communication Nathaniel Mong’are, Director of Events Planning and Logistics Sam Mwangi, Director of Membership Grace Gicovi, Director of Devolution and County Affairs Omulo Junior, and Director of Women Affairs Margaret Ndanyi.
This acknowledgment is a testimony to UDA’s grassroots mobilization and its role in engaging communities all over the country thereby strengthening its position as one of Kenya’s leading political parties.
