The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has given members 24 hours to challenge the results of its ward-level elections in Tharaka Nithi and Bomet counties.

In a notice dated Friday, October 30, the party’s Electoral and Nomination Dispute Resolution Committee (ENDRC) invited members dissatisfied with the outcome of the elections to formally lodge their complaints for consideration.

The committee said it would be available to receive, hear and determine disputes arising from the ward-level elections in the two counties following a notice issued by the party’s National Elections Board (NEB).

According to the notice, all electoral disputes must be submitted within 24 hours of the declaration of the results that gave rise to the complaint.

“ALL electoral disputes should be lodged before the Electoral and Nomination Dispute Resolution Committee (ENDRC) within twenty-four (24) hours, upon declaration of the election results giving rise to the respective dispute,” the notice signed by ENDRC Chairman Adrain Kamotho read.

Members were advised that they could file their complaints electronically through the committee’s official email address, endrc@uda.ke.

The notice was signed by ENDCR chairman Dr Adrian Kamotho, who urged party members to follow the outlined procedure when challenging election outcomes.

The move provides a formal channel for UDA members seeking to contest the conduct or results of the ward-level elections as the party continues its internal electoral process.
