Kenya content creator Tileh Pacbro has revealed he is an atheist after not receiving answered prayers and requests.
Speaking during an interview at Over 1 Million Podcast, he noted his shift came after years of questioning religion and struggling with unanswered prayers.
He reflected his fatherhood, his childhood in a children’s home and the personal journey that led him to identify as an atheist while still a teenager. He added that at the children’s home, there was a strict religious environment, where he noticed hypocrisy within the religious circles.
“I was raised fully Christian, but I was not raised by my parents; I was raised in a children’s home. I grew up with all the critical questions that were never answered…I weighed all the options and realized religion did not make sense to me,” Tileh said.
Tileh revealed that he no longer depends on prayer for guidance or success, rather, he believes in hard work, accountability and personal responsibility. He emphasized his atheism is not about rejecting others; it’s about living authentically according to his own convictions.
Despite being an atheist, Tileh said he respects religious people, including his own mother, stating he would never try to change anyone’s belief because he understands the hope and comfort religion provides.
