Kenyan businessman and Bonfire Adventures CEO, Simon Kabu, popularly known as Jabo Jabo, has surprised fans after receiving a staggering birthday surprise from his daughter, Maurine Kabu.
Maurine,gifted her father a fully funded trip to Thailand and a whopping 1 million shillings in spending money, carefully organized in Kenyan shillings, dollars, and euros!
In an emotional post on Instagram, Kabu could not hide his happiness and pride. He narrated that hardly a year ago, he had taken his daughter to Cape Town with a travel card valued at over KSh 2 million. To his astonishment, she used only KSh 32,000.
“One year later, my daughter has surprised me as I go to celebrate my birthday in Thailand, which she has fully paid for, with 1 million to spend,” Kabu wrote, praising the impact of mentorship and financial literacy in the family.
The photo shoot, which was captured at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, saw Kabu posing with his family members holding a gigantic bouquet made entirely of rolled-up banknotes.
