Content creator Shigwan Shiqo has shared her journey of discovering that she was five months pregnant without realizing it earlier, after receiving private messages if whether her pregnancy was genuine or just for content.
Speaking on her Instagram account, she addressed on the comments and rumors she had received following her pregnancy.
“Ladies check yourselves. Mimi nimekuwa na mimba for five months bila kujua. Sikuwa na anything yenye mtu akiwa na mimba huwa anaexperience,” Shiqo said.
She explained she had no typical signs of pregnancy and for months she carried life within her while continuing with her daily routines, unaware of the bodily changes inside her.
She also stated she had some body reactions after taking alcohol and experienced back pain, yet she did not notice the pregnancy.
She advised ladies to go for regular medical checkups if they suspect to be pregnant, highlighting that many women have similar experiences, where pregnancies go unnoticed until the second trimester and how unpredictable and diverse female body can be.
She also added she went to her doctor and confirmed and the doctor congratulated her telling her she was expectant.
