Tuju’s Dari Business Park, home to restaurants and a wellness site, was seized early March 14 after his firm defaulted on a Sh1.9 billion loan from the East African Development Bank, backed by High Court rulings.
Tuju claimed the officers showed no court order and came from high up, while videos captured him confronting them and a passerby praying nearby.
In his latest media briefing, Tuju claimed that a senior officer in the Country had approached him with interest to buy the property which he declined.
“I was approached by a very senior person in this country who offered to buy my property…I said no,’Tuju said in a statement.
He said that upon confronting the police officers who had raided his facility , they said that they had gotten an order from senior office.
“Police say the orders to kick me out of my Karen home at 3am came from so high, and they do not want to lose their jobs,” he said.
