Police Officers from the National Police Service, together with other security agencies, have successfully stopped what would have been a major terror attack in the city.

This was done after months of gathering intelligence on the target. The police had information that the target had links with the terrorist organization Al-Shabaab.

Upon receiving the news, they raided a house where the target was hiding, the police found five AK-47 guns, 20 magazines containing about 600 bullets, six hand grenades, and a Makarov pistol with 24 bullets during the raid. The police also found medical equipment and other items that would have been used in the attack.

This was done by different security agencies working in conjunction with each other. This is a process that is usually done in secret but is very effective in the security of the country.

Special police units, including the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit and the Special Operations Group, are still on high alert in the city and other parts of the country. This is in a bid to monitor any possible attacks and threats in the area.

The National Police Service has promised Kenyans that it is still committed to the fight against crime and the security of the people.
