The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) on Monday through their social media account announced they have launched an instant traffic fines management system.

According to the system, motorist owners will be receiving text messages on their phones upon violation of the traffic rule.

“This process is fully automated and operates without human intervention, ensuring greater transparency, efficiency, and accountability in traffic enforcement. All fines issued through the system can be paid through the branch network of KCB Group within 7 days, “Statement read

The authority says the system operates without human intervention to enhance transparency and efficiency in traffic enforcement. Motorists will be required to pay fines within seven days through the branch network of KCB Group.

NTSA in a statement revealed that unpaid fines will attract interest and this will bar motorists from accessing any service from the NTSA portal.

They advised drivers to obey traffic rules and to respond promptly to official communication.
