She stated her demanding schedule and lack of privacy forced her to step away from attending church services, though she insisted her faith remains central to her life.
According to Nicki, she was brought up under church guidelines, which she considers an important aspect of her life before her career began.
She explained her absence from church was not a deliberate decision but rather a consequence of her lifestyle that helped her achieve successful in music career.
“Once my career started taking off, first of all, I stopped going to church, not because I wanted to. I still wanted to go, but all of a sudden I was working on Friday nights and Saturday nights.” Minaj said.
