Nairobi United has secured a major financial boost after signing a three-year sponsorship agreement worth Ksh 380 million with SportyBet.

The deal, unveiled on November 5 at Mass House in Nairobi, marked a significant milestone for the club as it seeks to strengthen its position in Kenyan football and establish itself as a competitive team.

Under the agreement, SportyBet will become Nairobi United official shirt sponsor, with the partnership expected to provide the club with crucial financial support to enhance its operations, improve competitiveness and pursue its long-term ambitions.

Speaking during the unveiling ceremony in Nairobi, club CEO Nelson Odaya said the partnership had come at a crucial time as the team targets qualification for next season’s CAF Champions League.

“This sponsorship is timely. It will steer our path to returning to the continental stage, this time playing in the big one, the Champions League. I thank SportyBet for associating with us and believing in our journey. We can only promise them success. I urge our fans to give them the necessary support,” Odaya said.

SportyBet Kenya Country Manager Dianne Maina expressed her delight at the partnership, saying the company was proud to associate with a club that represents the capital city and boasts a history of winning silverware.

“We settled on Nairobi United because of the club’s grit, discipline and willingness to grow. We have followed its journey up the sporting ladder, from the National Super League to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL), and we were looking for a team competing at the top level with significant potential for further growth,” Maina said.

The ceremony was graced by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja, who also serves as the club’s patron.

Nairobi United competed in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup group stage, gaining valuable international experience against some of Africa’s established football sides.
