Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company has announced 295 job openings across different departments as it looks to strengthen its workforce and improve services in the city.
In a notice released on May 4, the company said the recruitment is part of its efforts to build a stronger team to serve Nairobi residents better.
Most of the vacancies are in technical and support roles. The biggest share goes to artisans in water and sewer services, with 80 positions available, followed by 70 driver jobs. There are also openings for ungraded artisans, labourers and data verification assistants.
The company is also hiring professionals in specialised fields. These include civil, mechanical and electrical engineers, all on five-year renewable contracts. Legal officers, ICT assistants, survey officers and machine operators are also among those being sought.
The applicants are supposed to submit their CV, copies of educational certificates, and any other supporting documents. The applicants should give contacts of three referees, one of whom should be from their past or present employer.
Applicants have been told that those who wish to apply should visit the company’s website under “Work With Us” for complete details of the jobs and requirements before applying.
Candidates should make sure that their application letters are delivered via courier service, mailing, or personal delivery to the Managing Director of the organization at Kampala Road, Nairobi Industrial Area.
