In Jomvu Constituency, in Kilifi County, Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports Cabinet Secretary Salim Mvurya inspected the ongoing construction of the Amani Community Ground project.  The construction is part of the Government’s commitment to investing in sports for youth empowerment, local economic growth and talent development.

The project, valued for Ksh 25 million, is a fulfilled commitment made by President William Ruto, projected to expand and access to quality sports infrastructure across the country.

Once completed, the facility will offer a modern, accessible sporting space for youth to nurture their talents, participate in competitive sports and unlock opportunities for personal and professional development both Amani Primary School and the surrounding community.

Sports have been a catalyst for opportunity in Kenya, producing world-class athletes and inspiring generations. The Amani Community Ground will offer a hub for the people of Kilifi County.
