R&B singer David Burke, popularly known as D4vd, has been accused murder of a teenage girl on Wednesday, using chainsaw he bought from Amazon to cut up the body of the girl and left it to rot in the trunk of his Tesla.

The prosecutor said D4vd killed Celeste Rivas Hernandez because she threatened to reveal their longstanding and illegal sexual relationship, which began when she was 13 years old.

The 21 year old said he used a plastic paddling pool to preserve the blood and packed in bags that he left in his car on the streets of the swanky Hollywood Hills neighborhood before heading for his music tour.

From the prosecutor’s documents show several text messages between Burke and Celeste, which include emergency abortion references, pregnancy references and explicit photographs that could attain to their sexual relationship.

Celeste and Burke broke up in November 2024, two months after her birthday, and last year she told Burke to expose the relationship as he was to release his first studio album at an event that was expected to begin a multimillion dollar career.

Burke had ordered two chainsaws, body bag, a heavy duty laundry bag and inflatable pool from Amazon. The prosecutor’s documents state, “After placing her body into the blue inflatable pool to prevent her blood from spilling onto his garage floor, defendant used a chainsaw and perhaps other tools to cut off her limbs.”

Detectives found Celeste’s body after a foul smell came from the Tesla car that was abandoned and then a towed to a yard. Burke has denied the charges, and he will remain in custody as his case is expected to be heard on May 12.
