Kenyan musician Bahati has set social media abuzz after publicly listing his house for sale, sharing the property details online and inviting interested buyers to make inquiries.

From the post making rounds, the house popularly nicknamed the “Banana House” has been advertised at KSh 13 million, with the price indicated as negotiable. The listing describes it as a three-bedroom bungalow in a gated community, and fans were quick to flood the comments with reactions, ranging from curiosity to jokes about “who is ready to upgrade.”

While Bahati did not go into lengthy explanations, the move has revived conversations from early last year, when his wife Diana Marua openly pressed him to consider moving from their current home. Diana questioned why the couple would keep living in a home she said she wasn’t comfortable in, especially considering the value of their cars.

“My rich husband… home is where the heart is, and my heart is not at home,” Diana said at the time, adding that if they combined the cost of their vehicles mentioning rides like a Range Rover and Brabus they would be worth more than the house. She insisted she was serious and asked Bahati to stop brushing off her concerns.

Diana’s comments also sparked chatter online after she claimed people had been spotting her luxury car around Kamakis, with some interpreting it as a subtle dig at their current location and lifestyle. Bahati’s fans are wondering if this is the beginning of a bigger upgrade for the celebrity couple or just a strategic move to invest elsewhere.
