Molo Member of Parliament Kimani Kuria has praised President William Ruto for his continued investment in infrastructure and housing projects across the constituency, saying the government’s development agenda is transforming livelihoods in the region.
Speaking in Elburgon during the commissioning of the newly completed Affordable Housing Units at St. Clare’s and the launch of additional housing projects at Michinda Primary School, Kuria said the initiatives demonstrate the President’s commitment to improving living standards in rural areas.
The legislator, who also chairs the National Assembly Committee on Finance and National Planning, highlighted ongoing works on the Elburgon–Kasadani Road as a major boost for local farmers, traders, and students who have struggled with poor road conditions for years.
Through his leadership, the tarmacking of the Elburgon–Kasadani Road is already underway; a major boost for our farmers, traders, and schoolchildren who have endured rough roads for years. I also humbly requested the President to extend more support to the Matuiku and Eastleigh roads, to open up more neighbourhoods and strengthen development across our growing town, said KuriaKuria also appealed for the construction of a Molo–Njoro bypass to ease traffic and enhance connectivity to the Rironi–Mau Summit Highway.
The event was attended by several national and county leaders, including Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, Senators Tabitha Keroche and Liza Chelule, Cabinet Secretaries Lee Kinyanjui and Alice Wahome, and Housing Principal Secretary Charles Hinga.
President Ruto’s visit, Kuria said, underscored the administration’s focus on infrastructure, housing, and youth empowerment as key pillars for economic growth in Molo and beyond.
