Political activist and businessman Morara Kebaso has responded to claims that he had an affair with TikToker Gilo Ntinyari, the wife of US-based TikToker Captain Sammir.
Gilo alleged that Morara obtained her number from a videographer and invited her to travel with him to Mombasa, even sharing M-Pesa receipts as evidence of the interactions.
Morara strongly denied the allegations, describing them as false narratives created by social media users seeking attention. He emphasized that his professional commitments and leadership roles leave him no time to engage in personal controversies.
“I don’t pay much attention to these stories because they mostly come from bloggers and TikTokers. My work and leadership responsibilities keep me very busy, so I don’t have time for such distractions. I ignore these rumours since they don’t add value to my life or work. I also avoid discussing my family on social media,” Morara said.
“I cannot control what people say about me or my loved ones, and some comments can be very insensitive, but I simply ignore them, it’s part of being in the public eye. Many use these situations to gain attention, so the best approach is to not engage,” he added.
Earlier, Captain Sammir had accused Morara of gifting furniture to Gilo and taking her on a three-day trip to Mombasa, questioning whether Morara’s own wife knew about the alleged affair. Gilo partially corroborated this but said she ended the involvement after her eldest sister intervened.
