It is a sigh of relief for Billy Mwangi’s family and friends after he returned to their Dallas home in Embu, safe and sound.
Mwangi, aged 24, who is said to be a blogger, went missing on December 20, 2024, with his disappearance sparking a rage across the country.
Before he returned home on the morning of Monday, January 6, about 15 days after he went missing, his mother, Regina Wairimu, had pleaded with President William Ruto for help to locate him.
His emergence now puts to rest a frantic search that had been launched by his family and a section of Kenyans.
Peter Muteti, who also went missing the same day as Mwangi, has also been found alive.
The family of Muteti, aged 22, confirmed that he had been found safe and in good health.
