Tanzanian singer Marioo has confirmed he delayed releasing his much-anticipated music video.
In a Facebook post, Love Song vocalist Marioo confessed that jealousy on the part of his girlfriend disrupted his plans. In an interview, Marioo’s girlfriend objected to some of the scenes in the video and stated she wasn’t at ease with them.
“Wasikazaelewa kutoa video jana kama nilivyoahidi, lakini mpenzi wangu wivu amenzidi,” he captioned, observing that his fiancée had found some parts “too much.” The artistjoked that he spent a lot of money on the project and pleaded with fans to “pray for him.”
Fans filled the comment section with various emotions some being sympathetic towards the star, others teasing him for letting love blur business.
Although there is the delay, Marioo promised his fans that the video will still be out soon once things are settled.
