Kenyan musician Esther Akoth alias Akothee has shared details about her wedding plans . During a recent interview, the 43 year old artist shared that she’s planning an extravagant wedding with her current partner Nelson Oyugi, alias Nelly Oaks.
Akothee excited social media users after saying that her previous wedding with her Ex-partner Denis Schweizer was just warm-up. She said, “The other wedding was small, it was just practice. The real wedding is coming soon, and it will be much bigger,”
Despite facing challenges and failing in her relationships and marriages, Akothee still remains optimistic about finding true love. Still hinting at the grandeur of the event, she stated, “Why would I lose hope in love? I need to be loved. I’m going to have another wedding, and this one will be international,”
Akothee kept most of the details about the big day to herself. She shared that the list of guests would be highly exclusive. She said, “This time, we won’t announce the date. It will be by invitation only, and the invitation will be based on your value.”
Akothee and Nelly Oaks have celebrated their relationship together for the past year after splitting from Omosh. The duo’s romance became public during a past Tik Tok session in which they shared a special dinner together. Nelly referred to Akothee as someone special to him.
Akothee shut down fans who questioned about Nelly Oak’s relationship and marriage status. She made it clear to the online community that indeed Nelly Oaks was unavailable to everybody else but her.
She said, “Am I a rock? Or a tree? Of course, I’m the one he’s with!”
