Digital content creator Liz Jackson has come to defense of her friend Eve Mungai following the online criticism over her career and business ventures.
Her criticism comes after she attempted to advertise her new smartphone business venture to Lang ’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, at a public event, requesting Jalang’o to help promote the business.
Later, her friend Liz shared a video on her Instagram page, dismissing claims about Mungai Eve, saying people wrongly assumed she was no longer successful because she doesn’t conduct interviews.
“I have been seeing online, ooh, Mungai Eve alienda wapi? Mungai Eve aliisha; ooh, she now sells phones; ooh, Nikama aliwacha kazi hainterview watu, she used to interview big people,” Liz said.
According to Liz, people can move or divert into other businesses if they are tired of staying in one place for a long time. You venture into new place where it makes or brings money.
Liz stated Eve is doing much better now compared to her previous job, despite her keeping a low profile from the public nowadays.
“She is my friend and I can guarantee you she is making more money than years ago. She has businesses and is not for her to come and announce that shop is not the only business she has; she has many,” Liz stated.
Mungai Eve reflects the challenges faced by many digital entrepreneurs who balance audience expectations with securing financial stability.
