Shock and grief have engulfed fans after popular TikToker Linah Kimaro was killed barely a month after her wedding.
The 36-year-old Tanzanian businesswoman, known for selling women’s fashion on TikTok, died in a tragic incident at her home while her husband was away, leaving behind four children and a devastated family.
According to relatives, Linah was fatally stabbed by her younger brother, Shadrack, who is said to be 24 years old. Family spokesperson Herman Elinewinga explained that the incident began as a confrontation between Shadrack and another sister, Lightness, who ran into a room to seek safety. When Linah stepped in to calm the situation, she was attacked. Her body was later found lying in a pool of blood inside the house. The motive behind the attack remains unclear as investigations continue.
Linah had recently celebrated her wedding on February 13, sharing joyful moments with her followers online. She was also recognised as a top salesperson in 2025 and had earned an invitation to Tanzania’s parliament alongside other entrepreneurs.
