The Kenya Literature Bureau has issued a statement denying rumors circulating online of its books being removed from the market.
The books in question are those of the Kenya Literature Bureau. The organization has come out to clarify the issue. In a statement made on Tuesday, the organization stated that there was no order from the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development for the withdrawal of its books from the market, and that all its books in circulation are approved and can still be used in schools.
The books for Grade 10 students have been missing, mainly because of the new students who joined in January. Books have been missing in most of the schools, with some schools using the older books for the 8-4-4 curriculum.
The government has, however, come out to clarify the issue. The Ministry of Education stated that the issue was being addressed and the books will soon be available in the market. The ministry stated that about 8.4 million textbooks had been distributed to schools.
The latest statement from the organization aims to calm the nerves of the people in the education sector, inform the public that there was no withdrawal of the books from the market, and calm the nerves of the people in the education sector.
