Investment, Trade and Industry Cabinet Secretary Lee Kinyanjui has pushed back against what he described as deliberate attempts to paint Kenya as a failing state.

In a statement posted on his social media platform, he said, “For those who have placed a bet on Kenya failing, particularly those seeking leadership positions, I’m sorry to inform you that you will lose that bet…Leadership must define hope, not doom. Good ideas must be fought with superior options.”

A chord has struck supporters and sparked debate about the leadership, perception and the country’s economic progression.

Kinyanjui’s message was not just political rhetoric but a declaration of confidence in Kenya’s fundamentals. He has insisted that the nation is sailing on the right side of history, pointing out the economic structures and the promising investment opportunities.

He has affirmed a hopeful positioning Kenya in creating a delivered concrete jobs, infrastructure and governance.
