The unfolding drama between actress Ketrai Damaris and her boyfriend, popularly known as Kaka Boy, has now spiraled into accusations as what began as a “garage love story” has turned into heated debates about exploitation, dignity and blurred lines between private relationships and public eye.
In a video circulating online, Kaka Boy’s workmates are seen accusing the mechanic of allowing allowed himself to be used by the woman. They stated he has never come to work with any of the clothes or items bought for him by the woman.
Damaris has faced criticism from the mechanics who have accused her of using Kaka Boy, who is struggling during this hard time, yet on camera, he is pretending to be okay and enjoying life out with her girlfriend Damaris.
The workmates of Kaka Boy have called for justice for their friend.
“Kaka, you are our friend. Why do keep pretending online like nothing is happening? Bona unawacha huyu mwanamke akutume hivi, bona unawacha akupost na photos za kitambo na ukona mpya?” Kaka workmates said.
Previously, Damaris has defended her relationship, stating that is all based on pure love and not for content creation, as the public could have thought.
