ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo has discussed a collaboration with the tech solutions provider to work on enhancing Kenya’s digital government priorities, mainly focusing on e, education and the realization of efficient digital public services.
In the meeting, Kabogo highlighted the importance of developing interoperable systems that will make integration across government platforms seamless, improve service delivery, and make public services more accessible to citizens.
Besides that, the discussions also concentrated on methods for training local IT professionals and giving them the responsibility of running systems in the country. Long, term partnerships that support digital transformation were considered essential.
Kabogo explained that the talk is in line with the government’s efforts to implement the Digital Superhighway agenda, which aims to make digital infrastructure and services more widely available to the people of Kenya.
He stressed that the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Digital Economy is committed to providing efficient, transparent, and accessible digital services that will help improve the living standards of all Kenyans.
The Cabinet Secretary also pointed out that the government is building a strong and inclusive digital economy that gives citizens a sense of power and improves the delivery of public services through investment in local skills and strategic partnerships.
