Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) Acting Managing Director and CEO, Dr. Muhamud M. Gedi, has announced plans to institutionalize quarterly staff engagement forums aimed at improving internal communication and boosting employee morale.

Dr. Gedi made the announcement during his first official staff meeting held Wednesday morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), bringing together employees from both JKIA and KAA Headquarters.

The open forum included staff from various departments and senior management in what was described as a candid and interactive session.

Emphasizing the importance of human resource matters, Dr. Gedi said the forums would serve as a consistent platform to listen to staff concerns, foster collaboration, and enhance workplace welfare.

“These sessions will not be a one-off event. We want to create a culture of dialogue where feedback flows both ways and staff feel heard,” he said.
