Nakuru County Governor Susan Kihika on Wednesday held a consultative meeting with grassroots leaders from across the county .
Taking to his social media , Kihika said the meeting was to prepare for the upcoming United Democratic Alliance (UDA) grassroots elections.
The exercise is slated for coming Saturday.
“Held a consultative meeting with grassroots leaders from across the county to discuss the upcoming UDA grassroots elections. The leaders had an opportunity to interact directly with the County Returning Officer and the technical team from the party. They had a chance to raise their concerns and receive clarifications, ensuring everyone is aligned ahead of the polls. With all issues addressed and preparations confirmed, we are now fully ready for the grassroots elections this Saturday, “she said.
Governor Kihika said all issues were addressed during the meeting and that preparations for the elections, scheduled for Saturday, are complete.
