Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua will today address the nation in a televised statement from Nairobi, as the country awaits his remarks on what he terms the “state of our country.”
In a brief message released earlier, Gachagua said the address will be aired at 12:00 noon, calling on Kenyans to tune in for what is expected to be a wide-ranging speech on national issues.
“I will be addressing the nation on the state of our country today at 12:00 Noon from Nairobi, Tune in,” he said.
While he did not disclose details of the topics he will cover, the announcement has sparked widespread public interest and political speculation, coming amid heightened debate over the country’s political direction and governance.
Gachagua, who has remained vocal on national matters since leaving office, is expected to use the platform to outline his views on the current state of leadership, the economy, and unity in the country.
