From Player to Chairman: Ambani Takes Helm at AFC Leopards

Former Kenyan international Boniface Ambani elected AFC Leopards Chairman.

Former Kenyan international Boniface Ambani is the new AFC Leopards Chairman, following clubs elections held on Sunday at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

Ambani who played for the leopards in his youth garnered 1,101 votes, against 682 by his only challenger Enos Mutoka.

The former Yanga SC striker succeeds Dan Shikanda, another ex-Kenyan international who has completed his two terms as the club Ingwe president.

The Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission conducted the elections.

Isaac Mulindi was elected the new Secretary General. He will take over from the late Gilbert Andugu who passed on last month. Newton Lime was elected the new Treasurer.
