At the close of the 2025/26 FKF Premier League campaign, Abud Omar and Yves Koutima names led the league representing the Kenya Police FC at the awards gala, both picked up as the Most Valuable Player and Koutiama as the Best Forward.
The event took place at Nairobi Serena Hotel brought together club administrators, senior figures from the National Police Service, players and coaching staff to mark the close of the season for both women and men.
Omar was awarded as the Most Valuable Player, Defender of the Season and Goal of the Season. Yves Koutima was awarded the Golden Boot and the Signing of the Season at the club.
The women’s team, Kenya Police Bullets, was placed in the CECAFA qualifying rounds for the CAF Women’s Champions League in Rwanda and clinched third in FKF Women’s Premier League crown.
In the women’s honors, Ugandan forward Margaret Kunihira took the MVP title, Elizabeth Ochaka was named Defender of the Season and Lorna Nyarinda claimed Midfielder of the Season.
At the same time, Ochola was selected the Young Player, while goalkeeper Emily Moranga received the most Improved Player honor. Terry Engesha’s goal against Ulinzi Starlets was voted Goal of the Season and Praxides Mushira was named Fan of the Season.
In the men’s awards, Ernest Malonga was chosen as the Best Chairman, Charles Ouma was selected as the Midfielder of the Season, Job Ochieng’ was named Goalkeeper of the Season, Erick Zakayo was the Most Improved Player and Daniel Ogembo was awarded Young Player of the Season.
