Fans of Kameme FM were stunned after one of the presenters slammed a post on their Facebook page apparently advocating polygamy.
The Kikuyu language station owned by MediaMax Limited posted; “John: Muthuri mugikuyu niendaga agaikara ari na side chick #njanjoyamuturire (Joh: A Kikuyu man should have a side chick)”.
The post did not go well with Evangelist Lucy wa Ngunjiri who has worked for the station for 25 years.
The founder of Prayers Beyond Ministry in Nairobi and who hosts Itaha Ria Muoyo, a gospel show reacted to the post saying;
“That is EVIL in God’s eyes…….Everything you do against God’s command shall deny you personal peace, divine intervention and worse still, this deny you Eternal life. But the choice is yours”.
Her reaction stirred mixed reactions with some supporting her and others opposing.
“Na Sasa Hawa wengine wataenda wapi?watafanya aje na wote ni watoto wa mungu.ubinafsi huo?” Mc Crop Choosen asked.
WinRose Nyawira Wanjiku wrote; “very true this tradition thing will take many to hell”.
Side Chick that triggered reactions.
Njuguna Njuguna defended the post saying; “nothing evil there the white man brainwashed Africans…polygamy is evil what is evil with polygamy yet some of us are products of second wives?”.
“Na nyinyi wote mko na side chick? kana kwina vacancy?” Marystar Shicque Shque asked while Mugo Rylon noted; “Ciubani wamejaa comments section”.
