Kenyan media personality DJ Kezz Kenya has shared a heartfelt update about her spiritual journey, confirming that she has converted to Islam. In an emotional Instagram post, she clarified that her transition didn’t start in church, nor did it end there.
“I’ve been on a spiritual journey for years. My choice to follow the Islamic path isn’t sudden. It’s sacred. It’s honest. It’s mine,” she wrote.
Kezz’s decision has received both support and criticism online. She directly addressed the negativity, stating that her page is no longer a space for trolling, religious superiority, or judgment. “My peace is not up for your debate,” she said firmly.
Her bold expression of faith arrives at a time when public figures in Kenya are increasingly discussing personal transformation and spirituality. Kezz emphasizes that her shift is not influenced by outside pressures but is about her own truth.
