In the wake of one of the deadliest natural disasters to strike the Himalayas in recent years, it has struck again, with thousands of people affected by floods and mudslides in the country. Kenya content creator Diana Daisy confirmed she is safe in Nepal.
She shared an update on her social media pages reassurance; with hundreds of foreign tourists remaining unaccounted for, has brought comfort to her followers and family, even as the scale of devastation continues to unfold.
“I am safe. We are still experiencing heavy rains where I am,” Diana wrote.
Diana Daisy is known for exploring across the Asian countries, giving people a glimpse of the country’s nature, mobility and the way people live.
Nepal has been affected by floods that have triggered by a sudden glacial collapse and landslide along the Bhote Koshi River near the Nepal-Tibet border, tearing through villages and trekking routes on Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Most communities have been left stranded and human toll has been staggering: more than 160 confirmed dead, with over 1,000 people missing.
Diana confirmed her safety despite the rare moment of relief amid the chaos, asking her fans to pray for Nepal especially for the families how have lost loved ones.
“Please continue praying for Nepal, especially for the families who have lost their loved ones and still waiting for news,” she added.
