Murang’a County Assembly Deputy Speaker and Kihumbuini Ward MCA Moses Gachui Mungai has expressed satisfaction with the smooth and steady progress in the ongoing rehabilitation of access roads across Kihumbuini Ward.
The Deputy Speaker highlighted key road projects currently underway, including the Kwa Mukang’a and Njaini access roads in Njaini Sublocation, Mukurwe Location, Kihumbuini Division. These works involve bush clearing, grading, gravelling, murraming, and compaction, all aimed at improving road accessibility for residents.
Mungai emphasized that the improved road network will significantly reduce transportation costs, boost access to markets and essential services, and ultimately contribute to enhanced safety and economic growth in the region.”Rehabilitated roads open up our communities by reducing transportation barriers and creating new opportunities for trade, businesses, and economic development.
