Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Director of Reforms, Research, Innovation and Development (RRID) Philip Ouma on Tuesday, visited the National Police Service (NPS) stand at the ongoing Nairobi International Trade Fair.
Ouma, who holds the ranks of PhD, MBS and AIG, visited the stand at the Jamhuri Park Showground, where he met police officers working at the exhibition.
The visit gave him an opportunity to engage with the officers and appreciate their work in showcasing the services and innovations of the National Police Service.
He also interacted with members of the public who had visited the stand to learn more about the work of the police and the services available to them.
The Nairobi International Trade Fair is being held under the theme “Promoting Climate Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Sustainable Economic Growth.”
The annual event brings together different stakeholders who showcase products, services and innovations aimed at supporting Kenya’s economic development.
Public invited to NPS stand
The National Police Service has invited members of the public attending the trade fair to visit its stand and interact with officers.
Visitors can learn more about the different services offered by the NPS, as well as some of the innovations being showcased by the service.
The police have encouraged members of the public to use the opportunity to engage directly with officers and learn more about their work.
The Nairobi International Trade Fair is currently ongoing at the Jamhuri Park Showground in Nairobi.
