David Keter Wins Emurua Dikirr By-election, UDA Celebrates

The ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has congratulated David Keter, popularly known as Dollarline, after he emerged victorious in the Emurua Dikirr Constituency by-election.

In a statement shared shortly after the provisional results were announced, the party praised Keter’s win, describing it as a reflection of voter confidence in his leadership.

“Congratulations David Keter alias Dollarline on your victory in the Emurua Dikirr Constituency by-election. Your win is a show of the trust and confidence the people of Emurua Dikirr have in your leadership,” the UDA Party said.

The party added that the outcome demonstrated continued support for its agenda in the region.

“The UDA Party celebrates this victory and sincerely thanks the people of Emurua Dikirr for their support and belief in the party’s agenda,” the statement read.

It further wished the newly elected MP success in office.

“We wish you success as you take up this responsibility and work to serve the people and push forward development. Congratulations once again, Dollarline.”

Emurua Dikirr by-election results

According to provisional results shared by UDA, Keter garnered 18,151 votes, beating his closest rival Vincent Kibet Rotich of the Democracy for Citizens Party, who received 10,440 votes.

The mini-poll was held following the death of area MP Johanna Ng’eno and five others who died in a tragic helicopter crash.
