Club host Jackson Ng’ang’a, popularly known as Ciggie Johnson, has revealed a DNA test done to his 12-year-old child is not his.
According to Ciggie, he believed to be the father of a child he raised, supported and loved, paid school fees and meet countless needs of a child.
The claims of conducting DNA test to his children follows after another man’s wife reached out to Ciggie claiming her husband had been having a long-term affair with his wife.
This prompted Ciggie to conduct a DNA test which confirmed he was excluded as the biological father.
For Ciggie it was a betrayal of trust, having raised a child for over a decade which involved emotional investment, financial sacrifices and social responsibility.
In Kenya cases of disputed paternity have become increasingly among many relationship of families. With other stating DNA testing should be normalized early in parenthood to prevent long-term deception.
