Alicia Kanini, has finally broken her silence on her shock entry into the adult content creation business which was brought about by the need to provide for her siblings.

In an open video shared on her social media handles, Alicia revealed that she took the decision while in her second year of university, after her side hustle of selling mutumba (secondhand clothes) failed to generate enough funds.”I had to find an additional source of income besides programming,” she explained. “Coding and design were not my thing.”

Alicia’s story found it difficult to juggle books, household responsibilities, and the ever-rising cost of living with fewer opportunities and with the need to support herself, she narrates that the path had to be redefined.

Her admission has drawn mixed responses online, with some praising her for being honest and strong, and others criticizing her for taking that route. Alicia, however, explained that her priority was and still is keeping her siblings in school.”Sometimes, we do difficult things not because we want to, but because we must,” she went on to say in the video.
