Activist Mercy Tarus has called out Morara Kebaso, saying he is not sincere in his supposed demand for accountability from President William Ruto’s government.
Tarus accused Kebaso of taking advantage of Kenyans in that he had shifted the pretended civic education to political rallies for his egocentric gains.
She said the lawyer has political ambitions and is using his current thrill to strategies for 2027. While at it, Tarus told Kebaso to slow down, as Kenyans are yet to make their choice and he should not think they have settled on him.
"You cannot claim to be conducting any civic education and engagement by consolidating people around you. Don't drag my name and my initiative into your political ambitions. Kenyans are yet to make their own choice when elections come, don't think you're the one," Tarus told Kebaso.Further, Tarus accused Kebaso of stealing her ideas. She said Kebaso is always in her DMs and calls consulting her and uses her ideas to shine.
"You are always in my dms, my call logs etc consulting then you go out and shine with things that don't belong to you. I know this path more than you, that is why you come to me.You cannot keep coming to me for advice and your fake commitment to the 'movement' then you go out to use my initiative's name, slogan and plan to execute a vision you do not understand. Then you go out and act like you are so superior. Umekuja sana kijana," she added.
