Rapper A$AP Rocky has pulled out branding collaboration with Instagram-famous graphic designer Allan Peters after he publicly shared a private conversation and posting it online.
The rapper was to undergo a brand makeover to reflect where he currently is, as he previously stated that fatherhood has changed his creative process.
In the conversation, Rocky had reached out to Allan asking about the brand logo revisions and expressed his admiration.
“Good morning Allan, how much do u charge brand logo revisions? Assuming you would be willing to do so, I would be honored; love ur work, god bless,” Rocky said.
Rather than keeping the exchange confidential, Peters shared the screenshot online, bringing forth a conversation that unraveled, leading Rocky to withdraw from the project in response to breach of trust.
“This is just distasteful, well I guess we won’t be working, best of luck buddy,” Rocky wrote.
After Rocky addressed about the breach of trust, Peters deleted the post, but he has not issued a formal statement regarding the incident.
